The Foundation
“The Ibn al-Arabi Foundation was founded on the 17th of Ramadan, 1428 (2007) — the birthday of Shaykh al-Akbar Muhyiddin Muhammad Ibn al-Arabi — through the collaboration of two dedicated individuals, Abrar Ahmed Shahi and Hamesh Malik.
Since November 2015, we have operated under the spiritual guidance of Shaykh Ahmad Muhammad Ali of Egypt, a mureed of Shaykh al-Akbar Ibn al-Arabi and a pioneer of the Akbarian Tariqa in Egypt. All books published after this date reflect this significant development.
We are committed to producing new, meticulously edited Arabic editions of our beloved Shaykh’s works, utilizing the finest available manuscripts. Additionally, we publish high-quality Urdu translations of these classical texts, rendered into clear, contemporary language for wider accessibility.
To date, we have edited and translated over 30 books and Rasā’il of Shaykh al-Akbar, including more than 20 bilingual Arabic-Urdu editions.
For details on our publications, please visit the Publications section of our website.”
