صاحبانِ نظر! حضرت شیخِ اکبر محی الدین ابنِ عربی قدس سرہُ العزیز کی اس گراں مایہ تحریر میں سالک کے لیے معرفت کے سمندر کو کوزے میں بند کر دیا گیا ہے۔ آپ متضاد کیفیات کے ذریعے حقیقتِ حق تک پہنچنے کا رستہ دکھاتے ہیں۔ کبھی حکم ہوتا ہے کہ اسباب کے دروازے بند کر کے صرف مُسبّبُ الاسباب ذاتِ باری تعالیٰ کی چوکھٹ پر بیٹھ جاؤ تاکہ وہ بے حجابانہ کلام کرے، اور کبھی فرمایا جاتا ہے کہ اسباب کے بغیر حقائق کا ادراک ممکن نہیں، لہٰذا دروازہ کھلا رکھو۔ یہ مقاماتِ سلوک کی باریکیاں ہیں جہاں سالک کو اپنی بشری کمزوریوں کا ادراک بھی رکھنا ہے اور روح کی پاکیزگی کا اہتمام بھی کرنا ہے۔ کبھی تاریکیوں میں اُسے پکارنے کا حکم ہے تو کبھی نور کے پردوں میں۔ حضرت ایوب علیہ السلام کے صبر اور دعا کا حسین امتزاج ہو یا حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام کی سطوت و حکمت، چیونٹی جیسی کمزور مخلوق پر رحم ہو یا راہِ حق میں حائل ہونے پر اسے مٹانے کا حکم، یہ سب اشارات اُس مقامِ فنا و بقا کی جانب لے جاتے ہیں جہاں بندہ اپنی خودی کو مٹا کر صرف رضائے الٰہی کا طالب بن جاتا ہے۔

حضور! دو کشتیوں کی بات سمجھیں: ایک کی نجات ٹوٹنے میں ہے تو دوسری کی سلامتی جڑے رہنے میں۔ بادشاہ تو صرف ایک ہے، لہٰذا شاہد کی کشتی مت توڑیں۔ اپنے وجود سے جوڑے نکال دیں کیونکہ حکم ہے: "دو خدا مت بناؤ"۔ ایک بچے کو زندہ کریں – یہ قلب کی روحانی طلب ہے، جس پر رب ذوالجلال قرب عطا فرمائے گا۔ دوسرے بچے کو جو کافر ہے، مار ڈالیں – یہ نفسانی خواہشات ہیں۔

دیوار کھڑی کریں – یہ ذات کی حفاظت ہے، اور دوسری دیوار گرا دیں – یہ حجاب ہے۔ دیوار میں پانی کا راستہ چھوڑیں مگر اسے مزید نہ کھولیں۔ وجود میں کم پر قناعت کریں۔ ہر معبود باطل کو معطل کر دیں، اپنا معاملہ چھپائیں جیسے برتن چھپایا جاتا ہے۔ پھر اس برتن کو مت چھپائیں اور اپنی ذات سے اپنی تعریف کروائیں۔ یہی ہے وہ راستہ جو شہرِ علم تک پہنچاتا ہے۔

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Dear viewers, today we delve into the profound wisdom of Shaykh al-Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi. The Master instructs: "Break the vessel and enter the City of Knowledge" – meaning we must transcend our physical existence through spiritual discipline to access divine wisdom. We must carry all aspects of our being in pairs into this journey, while ignoring those who seek refuge in material mountains.

Understand the two vessels: one finds safety in breaking, while the other requires remaining intact. Since there's only one Sovereign, don't break the vessel of witnessing. Remove duality from your being, for God commanded: "Do not make two gods." Revive one child – representing spiritual yearning – and God will grant you proximity. Slay the other child – symbolizing earthly desires.

Build a wall to protect what must be preserved, and demolish the other wall that represents veils. Leave a water channel in the wall but don't expand it – be content with what suffices in existence. Suspend all false deities, conceal your spiritual state like the hidden vessel, then reveal it and let your essence praise itself. This is the path to the City of Knowledge that the great saints have walked.

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ۔۔۔ سنیے اور دل جمعی سے سنیے کہ شیخ اکبر محیی الدین ابن عربی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی اس کتاب کا یہ حصہ کس قدر بلند معارف سے بھرا پڑا ہے۔ سالک بیان کرتا ہے کہ پھر اس عظیم رسول نے میرے لیے خلیل اللہ کے آسمان کو کھولا۔ تو میں نے آپ کے روحانی راز کو بیت المعمور میں، نور کے لباس میں طواف کرتے پایا۔ آپ نے مجھے بڑی شفقت سے سلامتی سے استقبال کیا اور بے پناہ عزت بخشی۔ میں نے عرض کیا: اے میزبان کے پیکر اور مکہ کے ندا کرنے والے! مجھے اپنے امن والے مقام کی حقیقت سے آگاہ کیجیے۔ فرمایا: "والنجم إذا ہوی" میں غور کیجیے۔ میں نے پوچھا: آپ کی ذات میں میرا کیا حصہ ہے؟ ارشاد ہوا: یہی کہ اپنے رزق سے مخلوق کو کھلاؤ۔ اے بیٹے! کیا تجھے علم نہیں کہ اگر سخاوت نہ ہوتی تو وجود نہ ہوتا، اگر کرم نہ ہوتا تو حکمت کی بات نہ ہوتی، اگر قربانی کا جذبہ نہ ہوتا تو کوئی راز ظاہر نہ ہوتا۔ سالک کہتا ہے: میں نے درخواست کی کہ میں بیت المعمور اور اس مشہور مقام میں داخل ہونا چاہتا ہوں۔ فرمایا: اس کی کچھ شرائط ہیں جو "کتاب مسطور" اور "الرق المنشور" میں درج ہیں۔ میرے اصرار پر آپ نے ولایت عامہ کی انتہا کے حامل کیوان کو بلایا، جو اس کا خازن اور محافظ ہے۔ وہ فوراً حاضر ہوا اور اس نے کتاب لا کر میرے دائیں ہاتھ میں تھما دی۔ میں نے اس کی مہر کھولی اور اس میں لکھی سطریں پڑھیں: "بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم، لا الہ الا اللہ محمد رسول اللہ"۔ یہ خانہ حق اور نشست صدق ہے، یہ جمع و تقسیم کا مرکز اور مشرق و مغرب کا راز ہے۔ یہ ہر صاحب مقام پر حرام ہے سوائے اس کے جو رفیق اعلی سے آئے اور مقام ارفع تک پہنچے، وہ جو مقام "قاب قوسین و ادنی" میں ٹھہرے، جو اس منتخب محمدی کے لیے مقام محمود ہے۔ پھر معراج کے ان حقائق کا ذکر ہوا، سدرۃ المنتہی کا بیان ہوا، جنت المأوی کی نشانیاں بتائی گئیں۔ ذات کے مشاہدے کا ذکر ہے کہ کیسے صفات کی ڈھال نے اسے چھپا رکھا تھا۔ عرش و فرش کی حقیقت ہے، فرشتوں اور عارفین کے قدموں کا فرق ہے۔ وارثین کی ارواح کے مشاہدات کا دوام ہے، جبکہ دنیا میں یہ مشاہدے منقطع رہتے ہیں۔ سو جس نے یہ مقام پایا، اس پر بیت المعمور کا داخلہ حرام نہیں۔ اور سلامتی ہو اس پر جس نے حق کے اس قول کو سمجھا۔

Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings… Listen attentively to this segment from the book of Sheikh Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi (may Allah have mercy on him), filled with elevated spiritual knowledge. The seeker narrates that the noble Messenger then opened the celestial sphere of Khalilullah (Abraham) for him. He witnessed his spiritual secret circumambulating in the Bait-ul-Ma'mur, clad in a garment of light. He received him with peace and immense honor. The seeker inquired: "O embodiment of hospitality and caller of Makkah! Inform me of the reality of your abode of peace." He replied: "Reflect upon 'By the star when it descends'." The seeker asked: "What is my portion in your essence?" He said: "It is to feed creation from your provision. O son! Do you not know that without Generosity, there would be no existence; without Grace, there would be no discourse of Wisdom; without Sacrifice, no secret would be revealed." The seeker expressed his desire to enter the Bait-ul-Ma'mur and this famous station. He was told it had conditions mentioned in the "Inscribed Book" and "The Unfurled Parchment". Upon his insistence, he summoned the Keeper of the seventh heaven, the guardian of this treasure, who immediately brought the book. The seal was broken, and the lines were read: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." This is the House of Truth and the Abode of Sincerity, the source of union and separation, the secret of East and West. It is forbidden to every station-holder except the one who comes from the Highest Companion and reaches the Supreme Station, who resides at the station of "Qaba Qawsayn wa Adna" (the distance of two bows or closer), which is the Praiseworthy Station for the Chosen Muhammadan. Then follows the description of the realities of proximity in the Ascension, the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary, the signs of Jannat-ul-Ma'wa, the vision of the Divine Essence veiled by the shield of attributes, the reality of the Throne and the Footstool, the difference between the steps of the angels and the knowers, the perpetual vision of the inheritors' spirits compared to its intermittent nature in the worldly life. So, whoever attains this station, entry into Bait-ul-Ma'mur is not forbidden to him. And peace be upon whoever comprehends this saying of the Truth.

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ۔۔۔ سنیے اور دل وجان سے سنیے کہ شیخ اکبر محیی الدین ابن عربی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی اس کتاب سے سالک کے ان اشعار میں کیا گہرا پیغام پنہاں ہے۔ سالک کہتا ہے کہ یہ راز میرے اقرار اور انکار میں چھپا ہوا ہے، یہ مشتری میں بستا ہے اور رات کی رفتار میں سما گیا ہے۔ اے میرے سیدی! چونکہ اس میں دونوں جانب کے اسرار سما گئے ہیں، تو آپ یہ کیوں نہیں فرماتے کہ میں اپنی روح کے ذریعے ان ارواح کا معلم ہوں۔ مجھ سے ہی وہ آگ بولی جو نور سے محجوب تھی، پس میں نار کے پردے میں نور سے ہم کلام ہوں۔ میں نے ہی ان تاریک موجودات کو پیدا کیا اور اگر ہماری مرضی ہوتی تو یہ بھی نور سے بھرپور ہوتے۔ میں ہی جسموں میں روحیں پھونکتا ہوں، یہ وہ مجموعہ ہے جس میں غیر کا کوئی دخل نہیں۔ اے وہ جو سخت پتھر پر عصا مارتا ہے! خواہ وہ سورج ہو، چاند ہو یا نیچے پڑے پتھر۔ اس لکڑی پر حیرت ہے جس نے پتھر کو توڑ ڈالا، اب پردے کے پیچھے سے اصل مارنے والے کو بھی دیکھ لو۔ بیشک تو ظاہر ہو چکا ہے اور کسی پر مخفی نہیں، ہاں اس پر جو خالق سے ناواقف ہے۔ میں تیری تلاش میں نفس کی اونٹنیوں پر صبح و شام مشرق سے مغرب تک گھوما، مگر نہ تجھے پایا اور نہ تیری کوئی خبر پائی۔ کہ یہ حسی کان ان حسی دیواروں سے پرے کی بات کب سن سکتا ہے؟ اور میں کیسے اس کا ادراک کروں جس کی مانند کوئی چیز نہیں، یقیناً میں نے اپنی حد سے تجاوز بھی کیا مگر تجھے نہ پہچان سکا۔ تو نے مخلوق کی تخلیق میں اپنے آپ کو چھپا لیا، پس تو اس راز کی مانند ہے جیسے مخلوق میں روح۔ تو وہ یکتا ہے جس پر زمانے کا کوئی زور نہیں، اور تو ہی تمام موجودات اور سمتوں سے پاک ہے۔ سالک کے ان الفاظ پر غور کریں تو حقیقی معرفت کے دروازے کھلتے ہیں۔

Peace be upon you… Listen with heart and soul to the profound message hidden in these verses of the seeker from the book of Sheikh Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi (may Allah have mercy on him). The seeker says: This secret is concealed in my affirmation and denial, it resides in Jupiter and is embedded in the speed of the night. O my master! Since the mysteries of both sides are contained within this, why do you not say that I am the teacher of these spirits through my soul. It is through me that the fire spoke which was veiled from light, thus I am conversing with light through the veil of fire. I created these dark entities, and if We willed, they would be filled with light. I am the one who infuses spirits into bodies; this is such a collection that has no influence from others. O you who strikes the hard rock with a staff! Whether it be the sun, the moon, or the lowly stones. Be amazed at the wood that broke the stone, now look at the original striker behind the veil. Indeed, You have appeared and are not hidden from anyone, except from one who is ignorant of the Creator. I searched for You on the camels of the self, morning and evening, from east to west, but I did not find You nor any news of You. For when can this sensory ear hear beyond these sensory walls? And how can I perceive Him whom nothing resembles? Truly, I even transgressed my limits but could not know You. You hid Yourself in the creation of creatures, so You are like the secret as the soul in the creature. You are the One whom time cannot overcome, and You are pure from all beings and directions. Reflect on these words of the seeker to unlock the doors of true spiritual knowledge.

الحمد للہ۔۔۔ سنیے اور دل لگا کر سنیے۔ یہ الفاظ ہیں عظیم محقق اور عارف باللہ شیخ اکبر محیی الدین ابن العربی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے۔ فرماتے ہیں کہ اے جان! تو اپنے رب کی طرف پرواز کر رہا ہے، تاکہ وہ تیرے دل کا راز تجھ پر عیاں کرے، اپنی عزیز کتاب کے اسرار سے تجھے آگاہ کرے اور اس پر پڑے قفل کی کنجی تجھے عطا فرمائے۔ یہ سب کچھ اس لیے کہ تو وراثت میں کمال پائے اور اس مقام پر مبعوث ہو۔ یہی "اُس نے اپنے بندے پر وحی کی" میں تیرا نصیب ہے۔ پھر فرماتے ہیں، خبردار! کبھی یہ خیال دل میں نہ لانا کہ محمدی شریعت کو منسوخ کرنے والی کوئی شریعت آئے گی، اور نہ ہی یہ کہ تو خود صاحبِ کتاب بنے گا۔ بیشک اللہ کی مشیت میں یہ باب ہمیشہ کے لیے بند ہو چکا ہے۔ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دیوار نبوت کی آخری اینٹ ہیں، اب آپ کے مخالف ہر دلیل مردود ہے۔

پھر اس بلند مقام تک پہنچ کر اور قلم کی بات سننے کے بعد، تجھے مسند ارشاد پر بٹھایا جائے گا، جیسے تو وارث بنا تھا، اب تیرا وارث بنایا جائے گا۔ اب ذمہ داری ہے۔ لہٰذا اپنی رعایا پر بوجھ ڈالتے وقت نرمی سے کام لینا۔ کیونکہ اس مقامِ حاضری میں عہد پورا کرنا اور نفس پر قابو رکھنا بہت مشکل ہے۔ سو جب تیرا آقا تجھ سے ہم کلام ہو، تو اپنی رعایا کے لیے ہر معاملے میں تخفیف کا سوال کرنا۔ یہاں تک کہ تجھ سے کہا جائے: "میرے ہاں بات تبدیل نہیں ہوتی"۔ جب یہ حتمی فیصلہ آجائے تو پھر سوال بے کار ہے۔ اب بس جب تک تو اس چھوٹے سے جہان کا منتظم ہے، اسی سے مدد مانگتا رہ، یہ دعا کرتا رہ: "یا اللہ! مجھے مشقت میں مت ڈال، اور نہ ہی مجھ سے منہ موڑ"۔ یہی میری وصیت ہے، اسے سمجھ لے۔ میں نے تجھے نرمی اور آسانی کی راہ دکھائی ہے، اب اس پر چل۔

English Description:

These are the profound words of the great master and divine knower, Sheikh Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi (may Allah have mercy on him). He states: O soul! You are in flight towards your Lord, so that He may unveil to you the secret of your heart, acquaint you with the mysteries of His cherished Book, and grant you the key to the locks upon it. All this is so that you may attain perfection through inheritance and be commissioned to that station. This is your destiny in "He revealed to His servant." Then he warns: Never entertain the thought that there will be a law abrogating the Muhammadan Law (Shariah), nor that you yourself will become a possessor of a new scripture. Indeed, in the Divine Will, this door is permanently closed. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final brick in the wall of Prophethood; now every argument against him is rejected.

After reaching this elevated station and having your pen heard, you will be seated on the seat of spiritual guidance. Just as you were made an heir, your heir will be made. Now there is responsibility. Therefore, when imposing duties upon your subjects, act with gentleness. For in this presence, fulfilling the covenant and maintaining self-composure is most difficult. So when your Master speaks to you, ask for reduction in every matter for your subjects, until it is said to you: "With Me, the Word does not change." When this finality arrives, then supplication is futile. Henceforth, as long as you are the administrator of this microcosmic world, seek help from Him, saying: "O Allah! Do not place me in difficulty, nor turn away from me." This is my counsel to you, understand it. I have shown you the path of gentleness, so follow it.

Praise be to Allah! I present to you another precious gift for the seekers of love and divine knowledge. Today, we will contemplate this profound text from the great work of Sheikh Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, which offers luminous pearls from the boundless ocean of spiritual gnosis (Ma'rifah). This text describes a subtle and mysterious meeting where a seeker is brought before a great presence. This entity smiles upon him and offers a blessing. Then, its minister, embodying wisdom and eloquence, descends and recites verses that appear to narrate a story but are, in reality, laden with the secrets of spiritual realization. These verses allude to the story of Prophet Moses and his people, pointing to the deep truth that every apparent 'idol' seen by the physical eye is insignificant before the Real Existence perceived by the eye of insight (Basirah). The lesson hidden here is that what is seen is ephemeral; the true reality is that which is unseen. Furthermore, another crucial point is made: one who recognizes his own true value and station will never be lost. O Seekers! These words are not merely a tale; they are mirrors in which to see your own reflection. Remove the veils from your inner state and continue your journey on the path of gnosis. This is the very light with which the traveler proceeds on his path.

سبحان اللہ! کیسا پراسرار اور نورانی سفر ہے اس سالک کا۔ اس مرتبہ وہ آسمانِ برتر تک پہنچ جاتا ہے جہاں اس کا استقبال "یا سید الاولیا" کے خطاب سے ہوتا ہے۔ اسے بتایا جاتا ہے کہ اب اس کی روح ہر قسم کے خطرات سے محفوظ ہو چکی ہے۔ پھر ایک عظیم ہستی سے ملاقات ہوتی ہے جو خود کو "منبع جلال" اور "سید المہاة والغزالہ" قرار دیتی ہے۔ سالک اس کی عظمت کے آگے سر بسجود ہو کر اشعار کہتا ہے۔ ان اشعار میں کیا کچھ نہیں! خالق و مخلوق کے رشتے کا بیان ہے، نورِ رسالت کی عظمت کا تذکرہ ہے، اور دل کا ملأ اعلیٰ سے پیار کا اظہار ہے۔ اس نور کو دلہن اور اپنے آپ کو دولہا قرار دینا کتنا پیارا استعارہ ہے۔ یہاں یہ سبق ملتا ہے کہ جب تک بندہ اپنے رب سے اپنا تعلق اسی طرح مستقبل اور مضبوط نہیں بناتا، اسے سکون میسر نہیں آتا۔ پھر وہ عظیم ہستی سالک سے مخاطب ہو کر اپنی حقیقت کے انکشاف کا وعدہ کرتی ہے۔ وہ کہتی ہے کہ وہی دلیلِ بقا ہے، وہی جائے ارتقا ہے، جس کی کوئی انتہا نہیں۔ اے عاشقانِ راہ! یہ الفاظ سن کر دل کانپ اٹھتا ہے۔ یہ کوئی عام کہانی نہیں، یہ تو اس راستے کا نقشہ ہے جس پر چل کر بندہ اپنے رب سے جا ملتا ہے۔ یہ وہ نور ہے جو باطن کے اندھیرے مٹا دیتا ہے۔

English Description:

Subhan Allah! What a mysterious and luminous journey this seeker is undertaking. This time, he reaches the highest heaven where he is greeted with the title "O Chief of the Saints!" He is informed that his simple essence (his spirit) is now entirely secure. Then, he encounters a great presence who declares itself to be the "Source of Majesty" and "The Lord of Mahah and Ghazalah." The seeker, in awe of this grandeur, recites verses. These verses contain profound truths – the relationship between the Creator and creation, the grandeur of the Light of Prophethood, and the heart's longing for the Highest Assembly. The metaphor of this light being a bride and the seeker being the bridegroom is profoundly beautiful. The lesson here is that until a servant establishes a direct and firm connection with his Lord in this manner, he cannot find true peace. Then, that great presence addresses the seeker, promising to reveal its true reality. It declares itself to be the "Proof of Permanence" and the "Place of Evolution," having no end. O Lovers of the Path! These words make the heart tremble. This is not an ordinary story; this is the map of the path on which the servant walks to unite with his Lord. This is the light that erases the darkness of the inner self.

اس ہستی کو امینوں کا امین، نبیوں میں حسین اور زہرہ کا دولہا بتایا گیا۔ مصر کی عورتوں نے اسے دیکھا تو ہاتھ کاٹ لیے، اس کے عشق میں ایسی گرفتار ہوئیں کہ پھر ہمیشہ کے لیے اس کی مطیع بن گئیں، لیکن اس نے ان سے منہ پھیر لیا اور ان کی محبت کا مرض چھوڑ دیا۔ وہ زمین کے خزانوں کی جانب مائل ہوا، ذہنوں کو پریشان کیا، قرضوں کو معطل کیا۔ وہ ہر دشمن کے لیے تیز تلوار اور ہر دوست کے لیے انعام و احسان کا سبب تھا۔ چمکتے ستارے اس کے سامنے جھکے، تلواروں نے دلوں میں خوف بٹھایا۔ پھر مملکت نے اپنے خزانے اس پر لٹائے، خلافت نے باگ دوڑ اس کے حوالے کی، تو اس نے عہد وفا نبھاتے ہوئے ریاست کو حسن نظر سے چلایا، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے پاؤں پر کھڑی ہو گئی۔ وہ اقویا و عظما میں سورج کی طرح چمکا، یکتائے دہر و فرید عصر تھا۔ اس کی موجودگی آنکھوں میں نور کا آنا ہے اور اس کا چلنا نور کا جانا ہے۔

Hello dear friends! Today, we will explore this mysterious text from the great book of Sheikh Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, which describes a unique and unparalleled entity. This text introduces us to a rare and exceptional personality who amazed both ancient and modern times with his presence. He came near Khubair and stayed with a precise scholar, then inquired about the incomprehensible limit, and received hints according to his understanding. This entity is described as the Amin of Amins, beautiful among prophets, and the bridegroom of Zuhra. The women of Egypt cut their hands upon seeing him, became so captivated by his love that they submitted to him forever, but he turned away from them and left them in the sickness of love. He inclined towards earthly treasures, disturbed minds, suspended debts. He was a sharp sword for every enemy and a cause of grace and bounty for every friend. Shining stars bowed before him, swords instilled fear in hearts. Then the kingdom bestowed its treasures upon him, the caliphate entrusted him with its reins, and he fulfilled the covenant of loyalty, managing the state with good vision until it stood on its own feet. He shone like a sun among the powerful and great, unique in his era and unparalleled in his time. His presence is the coming of light to the eyes, and his departure is the going away of light.
